Das poucas coisas que gostei sobre o museu foi o facto de ser gratuito. O museu em si não é muito grande e não faz justiça ao nome da cidade. A exposição parece desordenada e pouco se percebe sobre a história da cidade além de ver alguns artefactos random de Edimburgo

Enjoyed looking around free museum. It is much bigger inside than it looks from outside. Especially enjoyed four seasons in faith and learnt about other religions. There is money machine that for a penny gives you a unique coin.

Otro museo que es interesante de ver y si eres fan de Outlander podrás encontrar una ventana que da justo a la imprenta de la serie

This museum is bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside. It is full of artifacts and information from the cities' past and was quite interesting to walk around.
The building itself dates from the late 16th century and was interesting to view architecturally.
It is free to enter. Staff were very welcoming and happy to have a chat.
There was a nice souvenir shop and toilets. The toilets were clean.
On the website there is a British Sign Language tour of the museum.
There is only wheelchair access to the ground floor, the shop, and the courtyard. The second courtyard, used for picnics, is also accessible but you must ask staff to open the gate. There is a disabled toilet on the ground floor.
Some areas, particularly the stairs, were dimly lit.

Iš pažiūros atrodo nedidelis muziejus, tačiau jis ganėtinai nemažas. Įdomiai nuteikia grindys iš lentų,kai einant jos brazda, atrodo esi nusikėlęs kažkur praeityje.Labai gražūs paveikslai. Įėjimas nemokamas ! Verta aplankyti 😊

Really enjoyed a visit to the Museum. Lots of information and displays. From the entrance it looks like a small museum but it occupies much of the block it is on so felt a bit like a tardis as more and more rooms appeared . Much better than I had anticipated and we spent quite along time here .

Great museum, located in a typical old house on different levels with all of the information you need to soak up some of the local history. Plus it’s free!Staff was super nice and the whole place is well kept. Don’t hesitate to make a donation!
